Technical Data Canon AE-1 SLR w/ 28mm Ilford 400 HP5. Developed at 1:2 in X-Tol developer. Ilford Variable Contrast Glossy 5x7. Dim indoor lighting with some natural light coming through the window to help. f2.8 @ 1/30s Exposure Data I know a wide angle lens isn't typically a portrait lens, but it works so well with this little guy. I was taking pictures of him with my 50mm and figured the angle would work well here, and i think it did. The sharpness of this lens is amazing, as is with my 50mm too. Primes are so pretty, but then again having a zoom is always nice too. Critique Just any tips on portraits would be great. I love photographing kids. They have so much wonder in their eyes and can be so mature at times that it's almost scary. Plus, everyone wants to freeze them at that age. Any comments on this photo are open and welcome from exposure to printing, but i guess i'd like some advice about getting out there and in peoples faces with the camera. It's the part of my photography that i lack the skill for and would like to give this a bit of attention and focus so i can build on it. |

Well I gave you a good lengthy comment on getting out.
Again, give me a shoot when you have questions.
